Maintenance Technician

Vector's partner is seeking a Maintenance Technician who would be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving all production equipment, facility systems, utilities, and support equipment throughout the company's three-building manufacturing campus. This position plays a critical role in ensuring maximum equipment uptime, workplace safety, product quality, and operational efficiency. 1st Shift Up to $40/hr. depending upon skill set Responsibilities: Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all production machinery and support equipment. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues. Maintain accurate maintenance records and repair logs. Ensure all machinery operates safely and efficiently. Replace worn or defective components to minimize downtime Maintain and inspect all air compressor systems across all three company buildings. Monitor air pressure, moisture removal systems, filters, dryers, and distribution piping. Perform routine service including oil changes, filter replacements, belt inspections, and leak detection. Coordinate major repairs and vendor service when required. Ensure uninterrupted compressed air supply to production operations. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on all tow motors, forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment. Monitor battery systems, chargers, propane systems, tires, brakes, hydraulic systems, and safety equipment. Maintain equipment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Maintain HVAC systems throughout all three company buildings. Inspect and service heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment. Replace filters and monitor system performance. Coordinate vendor repairs and annual service contracts. Ensure proper environmental conditions for employees, production, and quality requirements. Maintain all waterjet cutting systems located within company facilities. Perform routine inspections of pumps, nozzles, seals, plumbing systems, filtration systems, and controls. Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues. Coordinate major repairs with manufacturers or service providers. Maintain spare parts inventory for critical waterjet components. Maintain lighting, plumbing, doors, docks, flooring, walls, and office areas. Assist with facility improvement projects. Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and safe. Support emergency facility repairs as needed. Be available for occasional after-hours or emergency maintenance situations. Maintain maintenance tools, spare parts inventory, and shop organization. Work with outside contractors and service providers. Participate in capital equipment installation projects. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Technical training and industrial maintenance experience preferred. Experience with manufacturing equipment, HVAC, air compressors, forklifts, waterjets, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical troubleshooting preferred. #IND101
