Jamestown, United States | Posted on 03/18/2026 Set up and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for precision measurement tasks. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure components meet quality standards. Develop and maintain CMM programs to enhance efficiency and accuracy in measurements. Conduct routine maintenance on measuring equipment and assist in troubleshooting issues. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement quality control processes and improvements. Ensure all measurements are documented accurately and comply with industry standards. Perform first article inspections and in-process inspections as necessary. Train and mentor junior staff on CMM operations and programming techniques. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding measurement results and quality issues. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred. Proven experience with CMM programming and operation (1-3 years preferred). Strong familiarity with measurement principles and quality control techniques. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications. Proficient in using measurement tools and software applications related to CMM operations. Desired Experience Experience with different types of CMM, including both manual and automated systems. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of ISO standards and quality assurance processes. Ability to operate CAD software for programming and measurement verification. Salary & Benefits: The hourly salary for this position ranges from $25.24 to $32.69 based on experience and qualifications.
