Client Billing Specialist

Client Billing Specialist LHH is partnering with a growing corporate services organization to hire a Client Billing Specialist. This role blends billing support, customer relationship management, and analytical work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, collaborating cross-functionally, and serving as a key point of contact for client accounts. This is not a call-center role. The team is looking for someone who brings strong attention to detail, comfort with numbers, and the ability to communicate professionally with clients while partnering internally with Accounting, Operations, and Sales teams. Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, responding to questions related to billing, invoices, pricing, agreements, and payment history Review, validate, and resolve billing discrepancies prior to invoice submission to ensure accuracy and compliance Perform account reconciliations and support billing adjustments, credits, and debits as needed Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze large data sets Prepare customer billing reports and support audit and reporting requests Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, updates, and resolutions within CRM and internal systems Collaborate closely with Accounting, Operations, Sales, and other internal teams to research and resolve client inquiries Manage high-volume workflows while maintaining professionalism, organization, and timely follow-up Support ongoing process improvements and assist with special projects related to billing and client data Qualifications Experience in billing, customer account support, or client-facing finance/operations roles Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup formulas Comfort working with high-volume data and multiple systems simultaneously Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain clean, well-documented records Clear written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset Ability to prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment Why This Role Stands Out Well-defined processes and structured training environment High visibility role with cross-functional exposure Collaborative, team-oriented culture with supportive leadership Opportunity to grow the role based on individual strengths and interests Strong emphasis on accuracy, professionalism, and long-term client relationships Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour Search managed by: Erin Kile Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
