PROPERTY MANAGER

Job Description OverviewThe Equestrian Property Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and operation of an equestrian facility, including barns, arenas, paddocks, turnout areas, equipment, and associated infrastructure. This role ensures the property runs efficiently, safely, and professionally while supporting the needs of horses, staff, and riders. Key Responsibilities Facility Management Oversee daily operations of the equestrian property, including barns, arenas, turnout, and groundsEnsure all structures, fencing, footing, drainage, and utilities are properly maintainedManage repairs, renovations, and improvements as neededCoordinate with contractors, farriers, veterinarians, and service providersMaintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards across the property Pasture & Grounds Oversight Supervise pasture rotation, mowing, and land maintenanceMonitor footing quality in arenas and riding areasEnsure proper drainage and irrigation systems are functioningOversee manure management and waste removal systems Barn & Equipment Management Maintain barn equipment, tractors, gators, trucks, trailers, and toolsSchedule regular servicing and inspections of machineryTrack inventory of supplies (shavings, hay storage, bedding materials, etc.)Ensure compliance with safety and fire prevention protocols Staff Coordination (if applicable) Support barn management by ensuring operational needs are metServe as the main point of contact for property-related issues Safety & Compliance Implement and monitor property safety proceduresEnsure barns and grounds meet local regulations and insurance requirementsAddress hazards promptly and document incidents as OTHER Scheduling maintenance for machinery and maintenance of infrastructure.
