Job SummaryThe Elementary Education program in the Clemmer College of Education and Human Development at East Tennessee State University seeks a full-time Lecturer position beginning August 2026 to teach in-person, online, and/or hybrid courses on the Johnson City campus and at the ETSU-Sevierville campus in the undergraduate elementary education program. The position is renewable term appointment focused primarily on teaching and service contingent upon funding and is eligible for promotion following department promotion guidelines. Teaching assignments may include seminar courses, content/methodology courses, planning and assessment courses, classroom management courses, or other courses as assigned by the department chair. In addition to teaching, candidates are expected to engage in service to the department, college, university, and profession. The typical annual workload is 80% teaching and 20% service.
