Our laboratories in Redmond, Lacey, and Wenatchee are accredited by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO).Job DescriptionAAR, a SOCOTEC Company, is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer to join our Redmond, Lacey, or Wenatchee, Washington office. The successful candidate will manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects, working closely with clients and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesManage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projectsInteract directly with clients and manage project budgetsCoordinate and participate in field activities, including:Logging borings, test pits, trenches, and coresEvaluating geologic and seismic hazardsPerforming forensic evaluations of distressed structures and failed slopesPerform engineering analyses, including:Foundation design and evaluationSlope stability analysisSettlement analysisPrepare geotechnical engineering proposals and technical reportsProvide technical support and mentorship to staff engineers, geologists, and field techniciansOther duties as assigned by the managerResponsibilities subject to change to meet current needsQualificationsEducationB.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering requiredM.S. in Geotechnical Engineering preferredRequired Skills & ExperienceLicensed Professional Engineer (PE)Minimum 5+ years of experience in geotechnical consultingFamiliarity with local engineering practices and California-based projects requiredDetail-oriented, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skillsAdditional InformationExpected salary range: $100,000-120,000 depending on qualificationsAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.SOCOTEC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
