Firmware Engineer

The roleThis role is for a venture-backed hardware startup in San Francisco building high-performance power conversion systems. A new product is coming to market, and this hire owns the software side of it, from the control loops running on the microcontroller through the test infrastructure that proves the hardware works. This is firmware that lives close to the metal. You'll write Rust for parts with tight memory and timing budgets, work against real switching hardware, and debug with a scope as often as a debugger. The bar is high.
