Physician / Surgery - Neurological / Illinois / Locum tenens / Locum Neurosurgeon Needed 24-Hour Call Job

Position Overview We are seeking a Neurosurgeon for a locum tenens opportunity at a Level I Trauma Center in IL. This is a new position with ongoing coverage needs and a flexible schedule. Assignment Details 24-hour call coverage Preferred schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (flexible) Will consider providers with 1 week of availability Up to 20 shifts per month Call and inpatient rounding EMR: Epic NPs onsite from 7:00 AM 7:00 PM Collaborative Environment: Trauma, critical care, and hospitalist teams Case mix includes bread-and-butter neurosurgery, trauma, adult patients only (100%) Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery Active Illinois medical license required Minimum Experience: 1 year DEA: Required CSR License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
