Platform Operations Engineer-Office

Responsibilities Monitoring, managing, and maintaining infrastructure with 3,50,000+ Linux servers, 14500+ Layer 3 and 22,000+ Layer 2 devices.Responding to hardware/software/network/OS related alerts in a timely fashion as per pre-defined SLAs.Troubleshooting network connectivity issues with various global ISPs, addressing packet loss, filtering, latency, and routing issues.Analyzing network traffic patterns and performance metrics to detect network anomalies.Identifying and resolving problems related to switches (e.g., switch upgrades, STP issues, VLAN configuration, faulty network interfaces).Troubleshooting router problems such as faulty ports, misconfigurations, BGP peering issues, and routing policy changes.Troubleshooting network issues in Akamai fabric clusters and backbone network.Ensuring round‐the‐clock operations; this permanent night shift role requires full on‐site presence with no work‐from‐home option.Qualifications 6+ months of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.Experience in networking within a NOC or similar setting and holding a globally recognized credential such as CCNA or JNCIA.Experience with Cisco and Juniper routers/switches.Excellent analytical, problem‐solving, and communication skills.Strong technical analysis and troubleshooting skills.Benefits Your healthYour financesYour familyYour time at workYour time pursuing other endeavors#J-18808-Ljbffr
