Sanitation Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping management, with a focus on commercial cleaning. Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping and laundry services.
- Supervise a team of housekeeping and laundry staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their duties.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and schedules to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas that require additional cleaning or attention.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Develop and maintain a positive work environment, focusing on customer service and employee satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the housekeeping and laundry services.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the housekeeping and laundry services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Train and mentor new staff members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills:
- Strong background in hospitality and housekeeping management.
- Experience with commercial cleaning and laundry services.
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and manage a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Experience with custodial duties and ability to manage and coordinate cleaning procedures and schedules.
