Our 264-unit apartment community in Quakertown, PA is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Service Technician with at least 2 years of maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting, takes initiative, and delivers outstanding customer service. Strong plumbing and electrical experience are important for success in this role.If you're skilled, motivated, and committed to keeping our residents' homes in excellent condition, we want you on our team.As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, you will:Be responsible for troubleshooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliances, carpentry, electrical, and plumbingPerform general maintenance and appliance troubleshootingSupport apartment make-readies/turns to prepare units for new residentsMaintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable lawsAssist with grounds and curb appeal to support overall community appearanceRespond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service ticketsCommunicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updatesYou will be part of a team consisting of a Service Manager and two Service Technicians, working together to support the community.Compensation & Incentives:Base Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourUp to 50% Rent DiscountProperty Staff Shared Renewal CommissionsMorgan Essentials: $300 quarterlyOn-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phoneMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchGenerous Paid Time Off, including 10 holidays per year and sick leaveHours & Schedule:Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMPaid rotating on-call participation requiredMust be available and prepared for emergency eventsSchedule subject to change based on business needsWhat We'll Expect From You:Minimum 2 years of maintenance or related trades experience requiredStrong experience with plumbing and electrical troubleshootingMultifamily experience or transferable maintenance experience requiredHigh level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with residentsReliable, self-motivated, and able to complete work independentlyComfortable using a smartphone, mobile apps, and computer systemsActive, valid driver's license and a personal vehicleAbility to live within a reasonable commute of the propertyHVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred#AC4476
