We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.What You Will Be DoingLead monthly close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reportingManage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysisOversee accounts payable and overall procurement process, partnering closely with supply chain, inventory management and production teamsManage accounts receivable processes and overall billing and collection process, partnering closing with production, quality control and business development teamsImplement process and maintain process for audit ready workpapers and ensuring compliance with company policies and payment approval workflowsPrepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and key performance metricsImplement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAPPartner with FP&A and operations teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiativesManage and optimize use of financial systems including ERP and spend management platformsSupport government contract accounting requirements and compliance as neededMentor and develop junior accounting team membersYou should have the followingBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management or senior roleStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standardsExperience with month-end close processes and financial statement preparationExperience in managing billing/collections and accounts payable processesProficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and data analysisExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyProven ability to implement process improvements and internal controlsNice to haveExperience in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense industryGovernment contract accounting (FAR/DFARS) knowledgeExperience with high-growth startup or scaling organizationsFamiliarity with Ramp, Bill.com, or similar spend management platformsExperience with inventory accounting and cost accountingCPA CertificateBig 4 public accounting background or publicly traded companyProject management or process optimization experienceUS Salary Range$120,000 - $150,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
