Front End Loader - 550 DVR Mt Gilead NC Night Shift Mt. Gilead, North Carolina, United States, 27306What We Need:Mohawk is looking for a Front-End Loader Driver which will be responsible for operating 550 loaders and conveyers for chip transportation.What You'll Do:Complete walk around inspections of rolling stockMonitors chip unloading conveyors and ensures chips are going to correct locationsVisually monitors the quality of chipsOperates loader and monitors that it is running correctly and efficientlyPerforms basic maintenance tasksAttend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervisionFollow all established standard operating proceduresPerform general housekeeping duties as necessaryPerform other tasks assigned by managementWhat You Have:Minimum 1-2 years operating heavy equipment (preferably loaders).Fork lift / Front End Loader certified or ability to pass skills assessment.Understanding of load limits, machine controls, and site safety procedures.Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, not required.What You're Good At:Effective communication skills.Strong active listening and comprehension skills.Managing multiple priorities with ease and staying focused under pressure.Ability to analyze and interpret data.Adapting quickly to change with a flexible, team-oriented mindset.Exercising sound judgment and professionalism, even without formal guidelines.What Else:Must be able to work in varying temperatures up to 110 degrees and dusty environment.Must be able to wear hearing protection, eye protection, and steel toe shoes.Must be able to make repetitive motions involving twisting and turning and using the force of 50 lbs.Must be able to climb on and work around machinery.Demonstrates flexibility in accommodating schedule modifications based on business needs.Mohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer that creates products to enhance residential and commercial spaces around the world.
