If you are a motivated professional seeking a long-term opportunity where you can grow, be valued, and feel empowered, we invite you to apply for our Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney position in their leading New York, NY office.This position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement.This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate Attorney to gain hands-on experience, take on significant responsibilities, and grow within a leading regional medical malpractice, healthcare provider, and long-term care provider defense team.Responsibilities:Independently manage a caseload involving medical malpractice claimsWork closely with other attorneys, team members, and Partners on legal projectsRegularly handle court appearances and depositionsCommunicate with clients and provide regular status reportsOpportunity to handle a significant caseload of COVID-related lawsuitsQualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice in New York1+ years of defense litigation experienceExperience in Medical Malpractice preferredExcellent written and oral communication skillsLegal project management experience is a plusBenefits:A variety of factors are considered in determining compensation, including experience, education, licensure/certifications, geographic location, market demands, and other business and organizational needs. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
