As a fast-growing technology company, we build much more than drones—we create the software, automation, and internal systems that power every part of our business.We're looking for a Software Engineering Intern who enjoys building things, learning quickly, and leveraging modern AI development tools to solve real-world business problems.What You'll DoAs a Software Engineering Intern, you'll work directly with company leadership to design and develop internal software that improves efficiency across the organization. Projects move quickly, and your work will be used by real employees and customers.Projects may include:Building features for DMR's custom internal ERP platformDeveloping web applications using JavaScript and ReactCreating internal business tools and workflow automationAssisting with website development and content updatesDeveloping customer-facing and internal web applicationsBuilding and configuring AI-powered agents and chatbots using platforms such as Open ClawIntegrating APIs and third-party softwareAssisting with light UI/UX improvements and basic graphic designTroubleshooting, testing, and improving existing software solutionsNo two weeks are exactly alike, and interns are encouraged to contribute ideas and own projects from concept through deployment.Preferred QualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related fieldExperience with JavaScriptFamiliarity with ReactBasic understanding of HTML and CSSComfortable using Git or other version control systemsStrong problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and eager to learn new technologiesBonus ExperienceExperience with any of the following is a plus:TypeScriptNode.jsREST APIsSQL databasesPythonMobile app developmentUI/UX designWordPress or website managementAI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, or similarPrompt engineering and AI workflow automationWhat We're Looking ForWe care less about checking every technical box and more about finding someone who loves building software.The ideal candidate:Enjoys figuring things out independentlyLearns new technologies quicklyIsn't afraid to experimentCan turn ideas into working softwareUses AI tools effectively while still understanding the code they're writingCommunicates well with both technical and non-technical teammatesWhy DMR?As an intern, you won't spend your summer fixing minor bugs or working on isolated assignments.
