Doors & Hardware Project Manager
ESI's sister company Jameson Suppy ( https://jamesonsupply.com/ ) is seeking skilled Project Manager. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects from contract award through final closeout across Jameson’s multifamily and commercial markets. This role owns the project schedule, budget, and communication between the office team, field team, and general contractor. The PM is the primary day-to-day contact for the GC and manages the full flow of submittals, procurement coordination, change orders, RFIs, field coordination, and billing.BenefitsESI covers 100% of the medical premium for all employees and families.Competitive 401k matchLucrative bonus potentialGreat upward mobility for career growthResponsibilitiesManage assigned projects from contract award through final closeoutLead the submittal and detailing process by compiling door/hardware schedules, cut sheets, shop drawings, and coordinating architect approvalCoordinate with the Procurement Engineer to sequence and time material orders in alignment with the project build scheduleServe as primary point of contact with the GC/owner team by responding to RFIs, ASIs, pricing requests, change orders, and back chargesCoordinate directly with the Field Lead and Shop/Warehouse Manager on installation scheduling, fabrication status, and delivery timingConduct or coordinate field verification visits to confirm site conditions prior to fabrication or deliveryReview and approve monthly pay applications with the Project AccountantParticipate in monthly job cost reviews comparing actuals to budgetCompile closeout documentation such as warranties, as-builts, and O&M manualsAssist with estimating as capacity allows Day to Day Activities Review open RFIs, change orders, and correspondence and respond or escalate as neededCoordinate with procurement on purchase order status and delivery timelinesTouch base with field and shop leadership on scheduling and fabrication progressFollow up with GC teams on submittals pending approvalUpdate project schedules and flag risks to timeline or budgetPrepare or review billing information ahead of the monthly deadline Conduct or schedule field verification visitsParticipate in job cost reviewsDocument change order requests and track approvals Qualifications2+ years of project management or project engineering experience in a specialty subcontractor or construction environmentFamiliarity with Division 8 products (doors, frames, hardware) highly preferredExperience with submittal packages, RFI management, and change order administrationProficiency in project management software; experience with Bistrack a plusStrong communication skills and must be comfortable working with GCs, architects, and field crewsDetail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously Growth Path This role offers a clear path toward senior project ownership and, for the right candidate, a broader operational leadership role as Jameson grows.
