Other benefits package may include health and vision insurance; life insurance; a 401(k) plan and paid time off.You need to be able to work onsite 4 days per week for this role.About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and innovative Electronics Design Engineer to join our partners team in Arlington, MA. This role is ideal for someone with a strong passion for innovative hardware development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new hardware solutions, being part of a talented engineering department.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Developing a strong understanding of product hardware architectureContributing across all phases of the hardware product development lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, design, implementation, and verificationSupporting hardware development activities carried out by outsourced partnersProposing innovative ideas to enhance hardware products and improve development processesCollaborating effectively within a diverse team while also working independentlyQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent)5–8 years of hardware design experience in industries such as communications, or medical devicesProven experience designing embedded analog and digital modules, subsystems, and systems using microprocessors (e.g., ARM, PowerPC) and FPGAsStrong background in PCB design, signal integrity analysis, and layout best practicesHands-on experience with diagnostics, debugging, and troubleshooting using standard lab equipmentKnowledge of full product development processes, including Design for Test (DFT), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), environmental considerations, EMI/EMC, and product qualification testingFamiliarity with formal hardware development processesStrong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentationSelf-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks while collaborating across teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience designing IoT or low power devicesFamiliarity with lean or agile development methodologiesExperience working with offshore teams, outsourcing partners, or third-party vendorsWe cannot offer sponsorship for this role.Please send across a resume if interested.
