Senior Procurement Manager – Packaging

Job Description/ResponsibilitiesAs the Senior Procurement Manager – Packaging , you will lead sourcing and supplier management for glass packaging across our manufacturing network. You will partner closely with Manufacturing, Marketing, and Finance to deliver high-impact initiatives that influence cost, quality, and operational performance.Our Procurement team is growing, and this role is open due to an internal promotion. This is an excellent opportunity to join Sazerac and play a key role in driving sourcing strategy, supplier performance, and cost optimization across our packaging category.What You'll Do:Develop and execute category sourcing strategies that drive material cost improvementsLead supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and performance managementPartner with Manufacturing to optimize cost, quality, service, and inventory levelsSupport new product launches and brand renovations, ensuring on‐time and on‐budget deliveryAnalyze supply and demand to improve inventory strategy and reduce excessIdentify and implement cost‐saving and value engineering opportunitiesDrive supplier quality improvements and ensure compliance with key standardsContribute to strategic procurement initiatives with company‐wide impactWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree7+ years of relevant procurement experiencePackaging experience (glass, metal, corrugated)Wine and spirits industry experience (preferred)Strong background in vendor management and contract negotiationExperience in food, beverage, or CPG manufacturingExperience supporting multiple locationsWillingness to travelLocation:Hybrid work schedule in Louisville, KY or Carrollton, TXRelocation availableWhy Sazerac:Industry‐leading portfolio with iconic and fast‐growing brandsContinued investment in supply chain and procurement capabilitiesHigh visibility role with cross‐functional impactStrong opportunities for career growth and advancement#J-18808-Ljbffr
