About the Position
Faith is looking for an outgoing, goal-oriented, self-starter who either attended FBBC or has an appreciation for the history and vision of the school, if that is you this might be a good fit! This might be a good fit! Past hires that have been a good fit have been parents of a current or potential student, recent empty nesters, recent graduates, or current or former homeschool moms or teachers. A flexible position, working a combination of hours from home and the office, is possible depending on the candidate’s previous work experience, but the candidate would need to be a local resident.

Supervisory Responsibilities
While this position does not have formal supervisory responsibilities, admissions counselors will view the person in this role as the team lead and will seek guidance and direction from them.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for nurturing 75+ applicants each year via texts, emails, and phone calls through the admissions process as well as assisting the Director of Admissions with organization, tasks, statistics, and providing help for the counselors. This position will also require recruiting and a high level of customer service to assist potential students and applicants. In addition to this main responsibility, this position will assist with Faith events as needed. Minimal travel will be required to visit recruits in person.
Assist the Director of Admissions in providing direction and organization of the admissions counselors.
Serve as the Lead Admissions Counselor.
Assist the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid Director in the Award Process for incoming students.
Maintain the Admissions mailbox, phone, and Live Chat
Input any incoming test scores and transcripts that are received by the department.
Serve as support, trouble shoot and help maintain the CRM Element 451.
Connect with potential students, parents, and other ministry leaders.
Engage with campus guests and help with admissions-related events.
Regular communication via emails, notes, texts, phone calls, etc.
Respond to questions in a promptly (within the hour or the next AM as needed).
Admissions counselors can expect to take calls/texts & answer them beyond regular office hours. The counselor would clock in and out outside of work hours to respond in a timely manner.

Basic computer skills and knowledge
Ability to clearly communicate with student recruits in a timely manner.
Customer service experience preferred.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A 2 or 4- year college degree or equivalent
