Job Overview The General Laborer plays a vital role in supporting job site operations by preparing work areas, organizing tools, and maintaining cleanlinessA Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:Prepare work areas and ensure all necessary materials and tools are available.Return tools and equipment to their designated storage locations after use.Maintain tools and supplies in a clean, organized manner throughout the job.Clean and restore the work area upon job completion.Perform additional housekeeping duties as required to support a safe and efficient environment.What will help you thrive in this role? High School Diploma or GED required.Demonstrated reliability, including consistent attendance and punctuality.Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety rules and regulations.Ability to learn and apply machine operating procedures, methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in semi-skilled work.Capability to follow oral and written instructions and perform basic arithmetic calculations.Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed.Physical ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.Blueprint reading skills are a plus.Hubbell IncorporatedHubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
