Tax Manager

Tax Manager We are a midsize CPA firm located in downtown San Francisco. We are about 60 employees total and growing. Our firm offers a range of tax, accounting, audit, CFO services, and more to a wide array of clients. We work with a mix of HNW/UHNW clients as well as mid to large private entities. We see many clients in the silicon valley areas, tech, private equity, real estate, construction, manufacturing. & distribution, and much more. We prefer people in the Bay Area, but we do have some remote capabilities for those a little further out. We are looking for an experienced manager to work on a generalist client book, do return review, lead tax planning, and be a main point of contact for clients. What you Need 5+ years of public accounting experience Active CPA or EA certification Ability to prep and review common tax returns 1040, 4065, 1120, 1120s, 1041, 706, 709, 990 Strong understanding of complex tax issues 1031 exchanges, 754 step-ups, 704(b), 704(c), partnership re-org/restructures, etc. Strong track-record of successful tax planning/tax strategy Expert client communication skills Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
