Supervisor (Cafe/Enterprise Food and Beverage)

This leadership role supporting Enterprise Food and Beverage (EFB) will be accountable for supervisory responsibilities with regard to the operation including the enterprise cafés, on-site Starbucks and catering. The supervisor is expected to effectively assist and then maintain various activities to include: customer service, quality assurance, safety and sanitation standards, budget planning, cost control, operational continuous improvement, supplier relationship management, training and development, and associate performance management. The Supervisor will also develop cross-functional working relationships while maintaining organizational culture and branding throughout the enterprise.Responsibilities:Establish service standards in partnership with Café associates and Café managerSupport the achievement of operational sales goalsParticipates in the development and implementation of goals, policies and priorities for operationsPlans, coordinates, supervises and evaluates activities and the work of assigned staffLead, engage and develop teams, including training, coaching and managing performance. Coach employees by creating shared understanding about what to be achieve and how to executePartner with Café manager to develop, execute and maintain onboarding, training, development and performance management solutions for café team(s)Partner with Café manager to maintain a working relationship with Starbucks corporate representative(s) to uphold franchisee standards and ensure compliance with Starbucks policies and promotional activitiesSupport the inventory process to effectively balance supplies against budget for café as well as franchised Starbucks locationsAssists with various catering needs and eventsPartner with Café manager to support communication strategy to include preparation of clear and concise records, reports, correspondence and other written and digital materials and make clear oral presentationsSupport budgeting activities and cost control initiatives including a working understanding of accounts receivables and accounts payablesDevelop sourcing strategies, coordinating with vendors, negotiating, preparing and reviewing contracts, analyzing costs, managing logistics, and finding ways to reduce procurement costs.Adhere to organizational standards regarding sanitation and food safety techniques in accordance with policies, local agencies, OSHA and FDADevelop, update and/or maintain functional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, elevate quality and provide exceptional customer serviceAssist with complex assignments for achievement of broader company initiativesQualifications:Project ManagementLearning AgilityHigh attention to detailExercise sound independent judgment within general policy guidelinesGreat attitude, work ethic and the desire to provide exceptional customer serviceSelf-motivated, self-starting, team driven and a creative thinkerConducts all work in an ethical, honest and professional mannerLeverage interpersonal skills to build working relationships with cross-functional partners and teammates to drive performance and positive associate engagementProfessional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate one-on-one under a variety of circumstancesAbility to execute tasks in a thorough, composed, accurate and timely fashion while managing multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility and willingness to take on additional responsibilitiesProficient PC skills including the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookExperience and Education:Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Hospitality, Business Management or like field, preferred1-2 years' experience in food service, account management, retail operations and leadershipPrevious experience with customer service, retail, sales growth, inventory management and/or supplier relationships, a plusSpecial Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift 30 lbsMust be able to stand for 7.5 hour shiftsCore Competencies:Lead with Curiosity & HumilityBuild High Performing Teams for Today & TomorrowInfluence & Inspire with Vision & PurposeObserve, Engage & ConnectStrive to Achieve Operational ExcellenceDeliver Business ResultsBenefits:Bath & Body Works associates are the heart of our business.
