Key Responsibilities:Provide engineered sales support for a life safety product line as assignedAct as a product champion for a life safety product line as assignedIntegrate sales with manufacturing to maintain qualityIntegrate our sales and manufacturing with specifying architects, engineers and customers for new product developmentAnalyze and oversee product line for profitabilityOversee regional sales territory as assigned – integrate engineering, manufacturing, technical sales, and our customers.Handle customer inquiries daily – direct sales supportProvide direct sales support via travel and direct, one-on-one sales visitsInterpret and evaluate competitive situations – locally, regionally, nationallyCalculate/evaluate margin analysis for competitive pricing situations on a frequent and regular basisRun manufacturers rep quotation analytics monthly (number of quotes generated, total quotation value, and hit rate) and communicates with all reps monthlyProvide technical support to the Technical Sales TeamOversee EAX user access (works with Marketing)Oversee our Technologies technical access (works with Marketing)Marketing functions (works with Marketing)Rewrite and overhaul of catalog, submittals and marketing materials (works with Marketing), ongoingBluehawk meetings - travelWebsite updates, ongoingRequirements:Bachelor's degree Engineering; Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Systems, or Bio-Mechanical PreferredExperience in leading teams and implementing projectsCustomer service experience or similar industry experienceSkills and AbilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation skillsExcellent analytical and organizational skillsAbility to accurately read and interpret drawings with graphic projections and three dimensional projectionsCAD, RevIt, BIM modellingPower user of ERP / MRP systemsPower user of Microsoft Excel and WordUnderstanding of geometric and dimensional tolerances as applied to drawings and shop work.Sound business judgment, recognizing the balance between achieving sales volume targets and maintaining or increasing marginsOutstanding ability for managing interpersonal personal dynamicsExperience with negotiated sellingAbility to perform data analysis and manipulationKnowledge of manufacturing processesKnowledge of our productsExperience leading cross-functional issue resolutionAbility to travel 50 – 60%Passionate, energetic, achievement oriented personalityPositive attitude, ethics, and international values which support our company's values and a healthy, high performance culture
