The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day onsite management, maintaining quality, schedule, safety, and budget performance, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification. The ideal candidate has broad experience across Commercial, Education, Healthcare, and Hospitality projects and can coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders from groundbreaking through closeout.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all on-site construction activities to ensure work is executed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans and specifications.Manage subcontractors, trades, and labor resources; enforce contract scope, workmanship standards, and daily productivity expectations.Develop, maintain, and drive the project schedule; coordinate sequencing, deliveries, inspections, and milestone handovers.Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks; identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions to meet project standards.Implement and enforce safety programs and OSHA requirements; lead toolbox talks and maintain safety documentation and incident reporting.Coordinate with project management, superintendents from other trades, architects, engineers, and owners to resolve technical and logistical issues.Monitor project costs and material usage on site; report variances and collaborate with project managers to mitigate budget impacts.Manage permitting, inspections, and compliance with local building codes and regulatory requirements.Prepare daily reports, progress photos, RFI support, submittal reviews, and punchlist management through to final closeout and turnover.Mentor and develop onsite personnel; promote a positive, collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and client satisfaction.QualificationsMinimum 7+ years of field superintendent experience on commercial construction projects; experience in Education, Healthcare, and Hospitality projects strongly preferred.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience preferred.Proven track record managing mid- to large-scale construction projects from mobilization through closeout.Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, building systems, reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.Demonstrated experience with project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera) and construction management platforms (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).Current OSHA 30 certification; CPR/First Aid and other safety certifications preferred.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and maintain client relationships.Valid drivers license and reliable transportation; ability to travel between jobsites as required.Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make timely field decisions under pressure.Experience with quality control, commissioning processes, and closeout documentation; familiarity with local codes and permitting processes.Email Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
