Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located at Portland Garment Factory in Portland, OR. The Pattern Maker will be responsible for designing and drafting precise patterns for diverse amd fast moving projects to ensure proper garment and large scale fabrication/ construction and functionality, and collaborating with the design and production teams to execute high-quality designs. Additional responsibilities include utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software, Optitex software, making pattern adjustments by hand, gradinb and providing technical sewing support as needed. Qualifications Expertise in Pattern Design, Pattern Making, and FittingProficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and OPTITEX software requiredSkilled in Sewing and understanding garment construction techniquesStrong attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanshipAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goalsExperience with zero-waste or sustainable production practices is a plusPrevious experience in a creative design or manufacturing role is beneficial
