Senior Product Manager - Public Benefit

System is hiring a Senior Product Manager to drive the development of tools and platforms that advance open science, empower researchers, and foster vibrant scientific communities. You will translate complex research workflows into intuitive, impactful products, integrate diverse research data, and collaborate across teams to accelerate reproducible, systems-based science. This person will report to our Head of Product.As Senior Product Manager, you will:Own the vision and roadmap for products that accelerate open science and support researchers worldwideBuild and nurture communities of scientists to drive collaboration and knowledge sharing.Partner with cross-functional teams to design and launch features that maximize scientific impactGather feedback from the research community to continuously refine and prioritize product developmentMeasure real-world impact on research efficiency, collaboration, and discoveryThe ideal candidate has:3+ years of experience as a mission-driven product leader passionate about advancing open science and accelerating discoveryExperience building products that serve researchers and scientific communitiesA passion for advancing open science and enabling collaborative, transparent research toolsA data-driven and user-focused approach to product development, iterating based on feedback and measurable impactExperience in community building or working within research/scientific organizations is highly desirableA proven ability to operate in a fast-paced work environmentExcellent communication and organizational skills with a demonstrated team orientation with strong ability to drive projects autonomously as neededThe salary range for this position is $150,000 to $185,000 per year.About SystemWe aspire to help the world see itself differently and build a more responsible and values-driven model of a tech company.
