Forestry Technician
Job Description
The duties of this position include administration and implementation of forestry activities, particularly timber harvest preparation. the majority of the work involves field reconnaissance, timber cruising, timber sales layout, timber marking, and general forest inspections. The incumbent must have education and/or experience with forestry or a related field.RequirementsEducation:Associates Degree in Forestry or Natural Resources-related field; or two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Special Requirements:Safe operation of government owned or leased vehicles with a valid Oregon State drivers license and be insurable by the CTWS.
