Applicants can expect to join a specialized team working on meaningful, defense-related software and infrastructure projects.Current Clearance and polygraph are required Role Description This full-time, on-site Cleared DevOps Engineer role is based in the Washington DC–Baltimore Area. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, reliable software deployments. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and automating infrastructure, administering Linux-based systems, and monitoring system performance and availability. The role involves collaborating with software developers, system administrators, and security teams to streamline build, test, and release processes while adhering to DoD and program-specific requirements. The DevOps Engineer will also contribute to improving tooling, documentation, and operational practices to increase reliability, scalability, and security across environments.Qualifications12 years of experienceA bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field Current Clearance and polygraph are requiredProficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and practices to automate provisioning, configuration, and environment management.Experience with continuous integration and related tooling to build, test, and deploy software in a repeatable, reliable manner.Strong background in system administration and Linux, including configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security hardening.Hands-on software development experience to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and integrate DevOps practices into the development lifecycle.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and version control systems (e.g., Git).Experience working in or supporting secure, government, or DoD environments; active or attainable security clearance is highly beneficial.Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team on-site.
