Financial Application Manager

About this job:First Hospitality is seeking a Financial Applications Manager to lead and support our core finance systems and related integrations. This role is responsible for the performance, configuration, optimization, and support of key financial platforms, including Sage Intacct, Ramp, Profitsword, and connected reporting and workflow tools.This role partners closely with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and IT to improve process efficiency, data accuracy, reporting, and automation across a growing hospitality portfolio.The ideal candidate brings strong financial systems experience, a solid understanding of accounting operations, and a proactive, service-minded approach to problem-solving.This role is based in Chicago's Loop and follows a hybrid schedule of four days onsite at First Hospitality and one remote day per week. Occasional travel to properties may be required.What’s in it for you…Insurance enrollment available from DAY 1Paid time off available from DAY 1Holiday pay available from DAY 1401(k) enrollment after 30 daysHotel and travel discounts at worldwide destinationsProfessional development and promotion opportunitiesOpportunity to lead automation and process improvement initiatives with direct business impactHigh visibility and partnership with Finance, Operations, and Technology leadersWhat you will be doingOwn and support core financial applications, including Sage Intacct, Ramp, Profitsword, and related integrationsManage day-to-day system administration, configuration, user access, workflows, and supportPartner with Accounting and Finance teams to improve close processes, reporting, forecasting, and data qualityMonitor system integrations and financial data flow, identify issues, and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendorsLead process automation efforts to improve efficiency, consistency, and internal controlsSupport testing, upgrades, releases, and system enhancements across financial platformsCreate and maintain SOPs, job aids, and training materials for end usersServe as a primary point of contact and escalation partner for finance system issues and enhancement requestsSupport additional finance systems, reporting, and process improvement projects as assignedThe ideal candidate for this position6 to 10 years of experience supporting enterprise financial systemsStrong hands-on experience with Sage Intacct, preferably in a multi-entity environmentExperience with accounts payable automation platforms, preferably RampStrong understanding of accounting processes, internal controls, and month-end close cyclesExperience with financial system integrations, workflow automation, and process improvementStrong Excel and financial reporting skillsAbility to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into practical system solutionsDemonstrated commitment to adopting and modeling responsible AI-enabled ways of working in alignment with First Hospitality’s AI Vision, governance expectations, and approved use protocolsHigh standards of honesty, integrity, discretion, and accountabilityHospitality or multi-location business experience preferredExperience with Profitsword, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or Power Platform preferredReporting StructureThis role reports directly to the Vice President of Field Accounting with a dotted-line relationship to the Vice President of Corporate Accounting and Treasury and the Chief Technology Officer.
