Quality & Safety Manager
The ideal candidate will offer specialized technical expertise to support Quality programs. This includes specialized inspection and testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, and quality tools for problem-solving and assessment. The Quality and Safety Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety programs across the Pamco and Deco facilities. This role ensures compliance with customer, regulatory, and certification requirements, such as SQF at the Deco site, while promoting continuous improvement in product quality, food safety, and workplace safety.ResponsibilitiesLead and maintain the site QMS in alignment with corporate standards and applicable frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001 principles)Ensure effective execution of document control, internal audits, corrective and preventive actions, and management review processesMonitor and drive performance against key quality metrics (e.g., customer complaints, internal defects, audit results)Lead root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrenceServe as primary contact for customer quality inquiries and auditsMaintain and continuously improve the SQF-certified food safety systemLead HACCP program development, validation, and verification activitiesEnsure compliance with GMPs, allergen controls, sanitation, and traceability requirementsAct as primary site contact for SQF certification audits and regulatory inspectionsLead site safety programs in compliance with OSHA and company standardsConduct and oversee incident investigations and ensure effective corrective actionsMonitor safety performance metrics and drive proactive risk reduction initiativesEnsure consistent execution of safety audits, training, and workplace observationsProvide leadership across both Pamco and Deco, ensuring alignment of quality and safety systemsStandardize processes where appropriate while addressing site-specific risksPartner with operations leadership to improve process performance, reduce risk, and enhance compliance Qualifications5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality and/or safety leadershipStrong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and audit processesExperience with SQF, HACCP, or regulated food safety systems preferredWorking knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systemsProven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive corrective actionsStrong analytical, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to manage responsibilities across multiple sitesPosted Pay Range: 90,000 - 110,000
