*Job Overview* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows and glass materials across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets high standards of quality, safety, and precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial buildings, utilizing your skills in construction and craftsmanship to deliver exceptional results. *Duties* * Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to determine window and glass installation requirements. * Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, fitting, and installing windows, doors, and related fixtures. * Use hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble, install, and secure window units according to specifications. * Conduct dimensional measurements for quality control, ensuring proper fit and finish of all installed components. * Perform heavy lifting of glass materials and window units while adhering to safety protocols. * Install drywall, trim, caulking, and other finishing elements to complete the installation process seamlessly. * Collaborate with carpenters, fabricators, and other tradespeople to interpret construction plans and execute projects efficiently. *Skills* * Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques specific to window and glass installation. * Experience with glass materials handling, including cutting, fitting, and installation of glass panels. * Skilled in measuring (quality control), dimensional measurements, and ensuring precise fitment of all components. * Familiarity with drywall installation, caulking techniques, door hanging, fixture installation, metal stud framing, and assembly processes. * Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols during heavy lifting and material handling. * Excellent problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience for troubleshooting on-site issues.
