Field Engineering Program - Technical Field Advisor - Control Systems

Company and Program Overview FieldCore is looking for engaged and driven individuals with a passion for engineering to join our Field Engineering Program (FEP) and Technical Field team based in Poland . About the Role You will begin in FieldCore’s Field Engineering Program (FEP). The program develops technical expertise, lean thinking, and leadership skills through in‑person and online training and on‑the‑job experience with Technical Field Advisors. Upon completion of the FEP you will qualify for a Technical Field Advisor position focused on Controls, managing controls activities during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of heavy‑duty turbines and equipment. Responsibilities Maintain a strong safety mindset, ensuring work meets technical and GE safety standards. Actively manage controls activities on site during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of heavy‑duty equipment, PLCs, and GE‑provided control systems (MKVIe, MKVI, MKV, etc.). Read and interpret piping and instrument diagrams (P&ID). Provide timely and accurate internal and external reports. Offer expert consultation on complex projects. Provide technical direction and support on OEM packaged products. Special Role Requirements Ability to travel extensively to projects and field assignments. Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required. Ability to spend considerable time away from home for training and field assignments. Skills and Qualifications Fluent in English with strong technical competence and passion for engineering. Strong ownership and work ethic. Desire to learn and solve problems. Positive can‑do attitude with clear communication to internal and external customers. Formal education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering preferred but total experience and achievements are primary.
