Data Warehouse EngineerRemote/ Draper UTFulltime Position Summary:Role - Data Warehouse EngineerExperience Required - 10+ YearsMust Have Technical/Functional Skills10+ years of experience SSRS , Databricks, Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Analysis ServicesCI/CD, Git, Jenkins/GitHub/Azure DevOps pipelines Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.Roles & Responsibilities:Architecture & Strategy Designing and implementing cloud-based data warehouses using Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly SQL DW) to create a single source of truth.Building pipelines with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or Azure Databricks to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources into the warehouse.Developing dimensional models (fact and dimension tables) within the Gold layer of the Medallion architecture to enable efficient BI reporting.Tuning SQL queries, managing indexes, partitioning, and scaling Synapse compute resources to maintain high performance.Integrating structured relational data with unstructured data from Azure Data LakeAnalyze COBOL programs, copybooks, JCL workflows, CICS/IMS transactions, DB2 schemas, and VSAM files.
