We promote from within, invest in our teams, and expect our leaders to set the standard on every jobsite.If you're a hands-on leader who knows civil construction and takes ownership of the work, TCE is where you'll thrive.The RoleThe Civil Foreman leads a field crew in the construction, repair, and maintenance of telecom tower sites and supporting civil infrastructure. This role is responsible for day-to-day jobsite leadership, safety enforcement, quality control, and ensuring work is completed according to plans, specifications, and project schedules.This is a working foreman position for someone who can lead from the front, manage crews effectively, and keep projects moving without cutting corners.What You'll DoLeadership & Project ExecutionPlan, coordinate, and supervise daily civil construction activities for assigned projectsLead, train, and mentor crew members while promoting TCE values and expectationsRead and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure accurate executionManage materials, tools, equipment, deliveries, and jobsite documentationConduct daily jobsite briefings, hazard assessments, and crew planningMaintain high proficiency with laser transit for layout and elevation controlSafety & ComplianceEnforce all OSHA, NATE, TCE, and client-specific safety policiesEnsure proper use of PPE, trench safety systems, barricading, lockout/tagout, and rigging practicesIdentify and immediately address hazards, unsafe behaviors, or near-miss incidentsComplete and submit JHAs, incident reports, and required safety documentation accurately and on time Technical WorkOversee and actively participate in:Tower foundation installationConcrete pads and shelter foundationsGrounding systems, trenching, and conduit installationEquipment platforms, fencing, and access improvementsExcavation, backfill, compaction, and gradingSafely operate heavy equipment including skid steers, mini-excavators, and compaction equipment Quality & Customer ExperienceEnsure work meets engineering plans, carrier requirements, and TCE quality standardsCommunicate effectively with Project Managers, inspectors, and client representativesDocument job progress through photos, reports, redlines, and daily updates Requirements What You Need to Be a Fit3-5+ years of civil construction experience (telecom civil experience strongly preferred)Previous experience leading a crew or working as a ForemanAbility to read and interpret civil, structural, and utility drawingsProficient in operating excavators, skid steers, compaction equipment, and hand toolsStrong understanding of grounding, trenching, concrete forming, and rebar installationValid driver's license with a clean driving recordAbility to travel and work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periodsPay & Benefits$35-$40 per hour, based on experienceExcellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and additional coverageConsistent work with a growing, stable company Why TCESafety is our number one priorityLeadership supports the field and understands the workClear expectations and accountability at every levelOpportunities to advance as the company continues to growA professional, respectful culture built on teamwork and trustSalary Description
