Job SummaryWe are seeking an 10+ years experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in the healthcare payer domain to design and lead scalable data architectures for large-scale systems. The ideal candidate will drive interoperability, cloud data platforms, and data strategies to support payer operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and innovation in healthcare data management.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and optimize large-scale data systems, focusing on healthcare payer workflows including claims processing, member data, and analytics.Design and implement interoperability solutions (e.g., HL7 FHIR, APIs) to integrate disparate healthcare systems and enable seamless data exchange.Solution and deploy cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, or Snowflake for high-volume healthcare data processing.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data models, governance, and pipelines that meet regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).Lead data migration, modernization, and performance tuning initiatives for enterprise healthcare environments.Provide technical leadership on EHR integrations (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and payer-specific data challenges.Mentor junior architects and contribute to strategic roadmaps for data infrastructure.Required Qualifications10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, with a strong preference for the healthcare industry (payer domain).5+ years managing large-scale data systems in healthcare environments.5+ years designing and implementing interoperability solutions in healthcare.5+ years solutioning cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Proven track record in healthcare data projects, with knowledge of payer operations (e.g., claims, eligibility, utilization management).
