Job Overview:
Innkeepers wear many hats in their job. First and foremost, they are the meet and greet portion of our inn’s staff. They must be courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful to arriving and established guests. Since our guests’ comfort and satisfaction are of the utmost importance, innkeepers are required to perform numerous tasks, within reason, for the benefit of the customers. They are also required to treat customers with respect, showing great tact and restraint at all times.
Responsibilities: Below are some basic responsibilities and are not limited to the list.
Welcoming and checking in guests
Maintaining accurate records of current and past guests
Surveying the inn for cleanliness and maintenance issues
Directing the housekeeping and maintenance staff accordingly
Assisting with maintenance and cleaning as much as needed
Renovations and upgrades
Networking within the industry
Answering phone calls and replying to emails
Taking reservations
Scheduling meals and kitchen services
Scheduling supplies deliveries and shopping for Groceries
laundry/linen cleaned
Cleaning and maintaining common areas and grounds
Restocking amenities and closets with linens and supplies
Maintain a peaceful and quite environment
Maintain acceptable Guest Ratings IE: (Booking.com – Expedia and Trip Advisor)
Owner will provide assistance with all duties during peak season and the Innkeeper shall run the Inn independently during off season.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
