Machine Operator

A Fabricator in Schertz is seeking a detail-oriented machine operator to operate a machine that cuts metal in preparation for welding projects. The ideal candidate must demonstrate careful attention to detail and work efficiently. Please note that 1-2 years of fabricating experience is required for this position. *Responsibilities:* * Review specifications to determine shape and size. * Use a tape measure * Examine cut material for any imperfections. * Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary. * Remove finished material from the machine and stack on pallets to prepare for assembly. * Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area. * Operate A forklift and operate over head crane *Requirements:* * High school diploma or equivalent. * At least 1 year of manufacturing experience. * 1-2 years' experience as a CNC or bandsaw machine operator is highly preferred. * Basic math skills for performing calculations and measurements. * Ability to measure down to the 16ths of an inch. * Ability to read a ruler and scale measurements. * Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. * Excellent communication skills. * Stand for 8-10 hours a day. * Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs at a time. * Ability to work in a noisy environment. *SCHEDULE* * Monday-Friday * 6am-4:30 pm * \*OT available\* *PAY RATE* * $21.64/hr * Pay increase after 3 months. *BENEFITS* – after 3 months * 401k * Health, Vision, Life insurance * Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay *LOCATION* · 78154 · Schertz TX *ABOUT US:* Thank you for your interest in joining Texas Staffing Solutions.
