Now Hiring: Sports Activity Counselor (Tennis & Golf Focus) – Summer 2026!Camp Sewataro is looking for an enthusiastic, active, and engaging individual to join our team as a Sports Activity Counselor this summer.This role is perfect for someone who enjoys sports, loves working with kids, and is excited about spending their summer outdoors creating fun, meaningful experiences.About the RoleAs a Sports Activity Counselor, you’ll lead a variety of camp-style sports activities with a focus on tennis, pickleball, and golf-based games. This is not a highly technical coaching role, instead, the focus is on building confidence, encouraging participation, and creating a positive, energetic environment for campers of all skill levels.Activities may include:• Pickleball and tennis games• Putting challenges and golf-themed activities• Mini golf design and group competitions• General sports games and team-building challengesWho We’re Looking ForWe’re not looking for a professional coach. We’re looking for someone who:• Enjoys sports and being active• Feels comfortable leading and engaging a group of children• Brings energy, creativity, and a positive attitude• Has some familiarity with tennis, pickleball, or golf basics (helpful, not required)Experience working with kids (camp, coaching, teaching, babysitting, etc.) is a strong plus.What You’ll Do• Lead fun, inclusive, and well-organized activity periods• Create a welcoming environment where all campers feel comfortable participating• Adapt activities for different ages, abilities, and group dynamics• Prioritize safety while keeping energy high and engaging• Collaborate with fellow staff to create a strong team environment• Participate in daily camp life, traditions, and special eventsDetailsOn-site at Camp Sewataro in Sudbury, MAJune 29th-August 21stFull-day, in-person role
