YOUR ROLE
In this role, you will act as a strategic finance partner for Versigent, North America and be responsible for material cost control, standard cost accuracy, and margin performance support. You will additionally ensure financial integrity of material valuation while driving cost optimization initiatives across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze standard vs. actual material cost and variances (PPV, usage, FX impact, Copper impact)
Support month-end closing activities related to inventory and material cost
Monitor cost drivers (raw materials, freight, duties, inflation)
Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain to identify cost-saving opportunities
Support Budget and Forecast processes for direct materials
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics or equivalent experience
Experience in industrial controlling, cost accounting, or FP&A
Strong understanding of standard costing and variance analysis
Must have multi-site experience in material cost control
Strong proficiency in Excel
Strong knowledge of SAP
Strong analytical mindset and business partnering skills
Spanish language fluency preferred
Experience with Anaplan preferred
Ability to travel approximately 20%
Ability to work onsite in Troy, MI
Must be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future
