This role is critical to maintaining equipment readiness, ensuring the availability of clean parts for preventive maintenance, and supporting accurate documentation and data integrity across systems.This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing onsite role requiring a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with shifting priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance (PM) and equipment support activities, including tool breakdown, leak checks, part packaging, and kit assemblySupport process control systems (PCS) equipment, including pumps, chillers, scrubbers, and abatement-related hardwareCoordinate part and kit movement, shipments, and associated documentation for onsite processingMaintain accurate documentation and ensure data integrity across UCT and customer systemsAssist engineering teams by collecting data and supporting resolution of:Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs)Fails on Install (FOIs)Manage site paperwork related to chemical usage, decontamination, and labeling requirementsApply electro‑mechanical and technical knowledge to resolve non‑standard issues with minimal supervisionFollow all cleanroom, safety, and PPE protocols in accordance with site and OSHA requirementsAdapt to changing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesCollaborate cross‑functionally with UCT and customer teams to support operational goalsPerform other duties as assigned in support of engineering and manufacturing objectivesRequired QualificationsElectro‑mechanical aptitude with hands‑on troubleshooting abilityExperience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment (e.g., volt meters)Ability to work in a semiconductor cleanroom environment while following contamination control protocolsExperience wearing required PPE, including respirators, for extended periods as required by site safety standardsStrong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independentlyHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standardsEffective verbal and written communication skills in a customer‑facing environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsProfessional demeanor and ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience in the semiconductor industry or semiconductor parts processing/handlingLow‑voltage electronic troubleshooting experienceFamiliarity with quality management systems (e.g., change control, product disposition)Prior experience with statistical analysis tools such as JMP or similar softwareUnderstanding of process management principles and continuous improvement methodologiesEducation & ExperienceAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a STEM‑related field (Science, Technology, or Engineering) preferred, orPost‑secondary education with 2+ years of related technical, equipment maintenance, or manufacturing experienceWork Environment & Physical RequirementsWork is performed in a semiconductor cleanroom and chemical parts cleaning environmentRequired use of PPE, including bunny suit, hood, booties, safety glasses, gloves, and respirators in accordance with site safety standardsAbility to walk 3–5 miles per shift and stand or sit for up to 9 hoursAbility to push carts for distances of 500 meters or moreAbility to lift and transport up to 50 lbsFrequent kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, and fine motor useWork is performed in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with changing prioritiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.Compensation$26 – $32 per hour($54,080 – $66,560 annually)Ultra Clean Technology is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
