We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused Yard Jockey with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience at our Sturtevant, WI plant. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, stable hours, access to some OT and good benefits.1340 Grandview Pkwy, Sturtevant, WI 53177Check out this out on our YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SByA2f0XHrkThis position is offering a $3k sign-on bonus for new hires. $1k paid after 30 days of employment and $2k paid after 90 days of employment!What will your job involve?Move trailers and other equipment around the yard using a yard truckMove trailers back and forth between plant and off-site storage facilityEnsure that trailers are properly positioned for loading and unloadingPerform daily safety checks on yard truck and report any issues to managementAssist with loading and unloading of trailersMaintain a clean and organized yardCommunicate with other yard personnel and management to ensure efficient operationsOperating vehicles in a safe manner (straight trucks and tractor trailers as large as 26 and 53 feet long)Heavy lifting!What are we looking for?Class A license with a clean driving record and valid medical cardWillingness to work full time hours, approx. 45 hours a weekExperience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations3 years of driving experience with tractor trailers and/or straight trucksA flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focusExperience operating vehicles in a safe manner (straight trucks and tractor trailers as large as 26 and 53 feet long)Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspectionsConfident in a road check level 1 through level 3Proven longevity in past employmentWhy work for us?Job stability - as an essential service to healthcare we are a non-seasonal and stable businessOpportunities for overtimeConsistent work hours - Monday- Friday position 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm)Benefits - Full time roles are provided benefits, sick leave and vacation leave from day one!Permanent position - This is a Full-time permanent role of 40-45 hours per weekCompetitive salary - This position is offering a $30.00 per hour w. $3k sign on bonus!$30 - $30 an hourWho are we?We are a healthcare service company providing safety systems and regulated waste collections for hospitals and an array of customers within the healthcare industry.
