Our goal is to represent our manufacturers and service our customers with the highest level of knowledge, skill, integrity and dedication in the industry.Position:HVAC Service Support TechnicianLocation:West Fargo, NDJob Description:As a HVAC Service Support Technician, you will have daily interactions with onsite (field) personnel including engineers, contractors, owners and other technicians. You will confirm the proper installation of newly installed equipment and perform factory authorized startups which include commissioning of all system aspects including but not limited to BAS interfaces, combustion analysis, pumping and flows. You will also be responsible for repairing, troubleshooting and training on all equipment sold by RM Cotton. Equipment and parts sales to end users or to mechanical contractors as needed/requested. When available/needed, you will assist outside sales engineers with quotes.Job Duties:Provide accurate field assessments of newly installed equipment to ensure compliance with local code and manufacture’s recommended installation guidelinesPerform factory authorized startup on newly installed equipment and submit required documentationFacilitate technical training for onsite maintenance personnel on the newly installed equipmentWork with installing contractors (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and controls) to answer installation and operation questionsTrouble-shoot on-site equipment installationsComplete job-site walkthroughs by creating documentation of existing equipment, measurements and drawings to assist in retrofit opportunitiesVerify boilers/pumps are ready for startup by performing a pre-startup check listSupport the sales process by providing accurate quote estimates, finalize submittals and O&M manuals, meet with engineers, contractors and customers, and create/issue POs for projects as needed.Job Requirements:High School diploma (two-year associates degree in HVAC preferred)Confidence working from electrical schematic, drawings, plans or specificationsPossess hands-on skills and knowledge to complete required repairs and maintenance on commercial HVAC systems (including boilers, burners, pumps, VFD’S, automation/controls systems and associated electrical systems)Ability to effectively use computers and computer programsSkilled in relationship building with an interest in sales and account management preferredCompensation:Salary * Dependent on work experienceCompany Benefits:· Medical 100% of employee· IRA plan· Paid PTOJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayWeekends as neededSupplemental Pay:Bonus opportunitiesWork Location: In person
