If you love hands-on troubleshooting, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy working directly with customers, this role was built for you.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESWhat You'll DoAs a Field Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting Weber customers across North America and beyond.You will:Troubleshoot, repair, and service Weber equipment on-siteInstall new solutions and ensure full functionality per specificationsDiagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and operational issuesServe as the communication link between customers and Weber teamsDocument service work accurately in Salesforce within 24 hoursTravel extensively to customer sites (including Germany as needed)Communicate job status and updates with service leadershipRecommend future parts and service solutions to customersEnsure customers understand equipment operation and safety before departureProvide various customer training requirements as neededEvery service call is an opportunity to strengthen relationships and reinforce Weber's reputation for excellence.QUALIFICATIONSEducationandExperienceAssociate degree or technical school diploma in electrical, mechanical maintenance, or related field3+ years of field service, packaging, or industrial maintenance experience, 5+ years preferredEquivalent education and experience consideredTravel RequirementsExtensive travel required based on customer needsFlexible schedule including nights or weekends when necessaryMust have a valid and unrestricted driver's license. Real ID-compliant drivers license or other TSA approved alternative form of identification required for travelValid passport or ability to obtain oneSkills & Competencies:Technical SkillsStrong mechanical aptitudeElectrical, pneumatic, and machine shop experienceAbility to troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, and operational systemsPreventative maintenance and problem-solving mindsetProfessional SkillsExcellent customer service and communication abilitiesComfortable working independently with minimal supervisionAbility to stay calm and professional in high-pressure environmentsStrong documentation and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce, and Concur experience is a plusMaintain a business casual attire within the Weber Uniform PolicyWorking knowledge of managing expenses and expense reportingWhy Weber?At Weber, our people are our competitive advantage.
