Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Description Responsibilities:- Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care- Perform basic nursing procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse- Assist with physical examinations and medical procedures- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals- Assist with gastric lavage and IV infusion as needed- Provide patient service and support, ensuring their comfort and well-being- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records- Assist with the setup and maintenance of medical equipment (DME)- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environmentRequirements:- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Massachusetts- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred- Proficiency in basic nursing skills, including vital signs and physical examinations- Knowledge of medication administration protocols- Familiarity with IV infusion procedures- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a team environment- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patientsThis position is located in Boston, MANote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
