The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for providing patient care under the direction of a physician or another healthcare provider. A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.Certified Medical Assistant: Completion of an accredited medical assistant program One year of medical assistant work experience. Current CMA certification (i.e. AAMA, NCCT). Certified Medical Assistant: $42,948 - $49,826.40. The above salary range ( or hiring range ) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
