The Florida-based corporation has production and shipping operations in Florida, California, Arizona, Michigan and Georgia with additional domestic and international locations.Duda Farm Fresh Foods is seeking a Senior Safety Specialist to support the Food and AG business unit at our Belle Glade facility and other locations. The Senior Safety Specialist will serve as a key partner to site leadership, driving a proactive safety culture and continuously improving workplace safety performance. This position will also play a critical role in identifying hazards, recommending corrective actions, and monitoring the effectiveness of safety initiatives across multiple sites.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify workplace hazards and recommend effective mitigation strategies Develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide safety programs and initiatives Lead thorough incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning Design and deliver engaging safety training programs to employees at all levels Perform regular audits of the Belle Glade facility and other company locationsCollaborate with management and operations teams to develop, update, and maintain Emergency Action Plans Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies, procedures, and best practices Serve as the primary liaison with external consultants, auditors, and regulatory agenciesOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree or Associate degree5+ years of experience in occupational safety, preferably within food and agriculture, manufacturing, or industrial environmentsStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysisStrong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organizationEnglish required; bilingual Spanish preferredValid driver’s licensePhysical & Work RequirementsAbility to lift up to 25 lbsRegular bending, standing, and walkingField and facility work requiredOvernight travel to other locations may be requiredIf you are reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a team focused on quality and efficiency, apply and grow with us at Duda Farm Fresh Foods.All applicants must be able to pass a physical, drug test, criminal background check and have valid driver license.
