Surgical Tech Location: Sterling, CO Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $2,190 to $2,390 per week Shift Information: Days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the PositionAlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Surg Tech in Sterling, Colorado, 80751!Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.Minimum Requirements:Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or state registry where applicable.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Manual dexterity and ability to maintain professional composure in emergent situations.Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and lift up to 75 pounds as required by the role.Ability to use proper body mechanics for patient transfers and to follow infection control, medication labeling, specimen handling, sharps safety, time-out, radiation and laser safety procedures.Where applicable, registration with State Regulatory Agency required.Familiarity with preparing case carts, instrument counts, OR turnover, and maintaining accurate surgeon preference cards.Facility-specific requirement: willingness to follow a varied work schedule and all additional on-site requirements noted in client instructions prior to applying.Preferred: Graduation from a certified school of surgical technology or two years of operating room experience.
