Physical Therapist Location: Worcester, MA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,505 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/22/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapy experience or Level II clinical experience for new graduates License: Massachusetts State License Description: Effectively screens, evaluates, and rehabilitates patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care. Develops appropriate plans of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards. Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions. Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including but not limited to manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices. Assesses patients' progress and adjusts treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Modifies services in relation to patient evaluation and makes referrals based on outcomes. Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders. Effectively communicates with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans. Provides comprehensive discharge summaries of services per regulatory and clinical requirements. Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy. Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements. Participates in required meetings, including but not limited to patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings. Attends facility and company-required training, in-services, and conferences. Able to obtain necessary durable medical equipment or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Able to supervise and support physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides.
