Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $1,725 per week

The Judge Group is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Brownsville, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel FULL SOCIAL AND DOB REQUIRED About the unit(s): · Number of Beds -22 · Number of Staff – 55 · Type of staff: o Day Shift – Charge 5 RNs 1 AM ER Tech, 1 12-12ER Tech, 10-10 RN,12-12 RN and 3-3 RN o Night Shift – Charge 6 RNs 1 PM Tech, 1 12-12ER Tech, 10-10 RN,12-12 RN and 3-3 RN · Patient Ratios – 4:1 · EMR -Meditech Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity setting · Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred) · Strong triage and critical thinking skills · Trauma and cardiac alert experience, including care of STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patients Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Experience with Meditech documentation system · Trauma and cardiac alert experience, including care of STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patients · Bilingual (English/Spanish) – preferred but not required List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · IV insertion, medication administration, EKGs, splinting, wound care · Moderate sedation for procedures such as reductions or cardioversion · Assisting with intubation, CPR, rapid sequence intubation, and code response · Care of stroke, STEMI, sepsis, trauma, and behavioral health patients · Transport preparation and coordination for higher levels of care · Triage assessment and prioritization based on ESI guidelines · Isolation and infection control protocols · Documentation and reassessment in fast paced environments Best personality Fit: · Team-oriented with strong work ethic and accountability · Punctual, reliable, and compassionate with excellent patient-centered care · Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: · BLS,ACLS,PALS,TNCC,ENPC,CPI Dress Code: · Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue WHY JUDGE HEALTHCARE?
