FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
DescriptionDuties include, but are not limited to: Onsite or in-house run off, servicing, repair and/or installation company products In-process inspections at subcontractor facilities Provides technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of equipment Serves as a customer contact on technical and service-related issues Diagnoses and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures Determines most cost-effective repair / resolution Prepare service reports for internal and external customers Performs general maintenance tasks and resolves less complex problems immediately, while more complex issues are identified to a higher level of supportRequirementsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2-3 years’ experience preferred, but not required High school diploma/GED Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics Ability to use typical hand and power tools Ability to travel up to 50% Be literate in English speaking and writing Average computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
